March Break Activities at Museums and Libraries

Museums and libraries across the province are coming alive for March Break, March 13-17, with programs, events and activities for Nova Scotians of all ages.

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax is offering an Arctic Quest. Sail the ship, Baffin, and learn about this fascinating region of Canada through fun, art and games. For more information, visit maritimemuseum.novascotia.ca.

The Museum of Natural History in Halifax is hosting the Here Be Dragons exhibit. Explore the myth of dragons through culture, folklore, science, live animals and more. For more information, visit naturalhistory.novascotia.ca.

The Museum of Industry in Stellarton is holding an event, Pirates, Parrots and Plunder! Climb aboard and test your skills as a true pirate searching for buried treasure. For more information, visit museumofindustry.novascotia.ca.

Ross Farm Museum will have a daily theme for each day of March Break, with various hands-on activities, while the Firefighters’ Museum will host Heritage Hunts from March 13 – 17.
