Hello friends of Fairview-Clayton Park. I hope the end of summer is treating you well. As we settle back into our regular schedules, I wanted to wish you all a good start to the new school year. I have never felt that summer ends after Labour Day, so we have decided to host a number of community events throughout the riding during the month of September, to help make that transition back into fall a little less painful.
We are currently planning a FREE family outdoor movie nights taking place on September 20th at 8pm outside of Centennial Arena. Please bring a blanket or chair and come watch the LEGO movie with us!! The first ever Fairview-Clayton Park MLA, BBQ is scheduled for Sunday, September 14th from 4-6pm at the old Northcliff site, 111 Clayton Park Dr. I hope you can join me for a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. September 28th we are organizing a community hike/walk through the Mainland Commons Loop and Geizer Hill Trails. The walk starts at 2pm. Please meet at the top of Westridge Dr, in the parking lot. I hope to see you at our events in September!
